UNDER CARPET
HEATING
The main advantage
of this system is that it can be installed in both existing and new houses without
major alteration or preparations. The heaters are made of a toughened and durable
aluminium foil. The unique spiraled and flexible heating element is sandwiched
between two layers of the aluminium foil supported by rigidised board and re-inforcing scrim.
The system is installed
on top of the under-felt prior to carpeting, it can be installed under both wall
to wall carpets and loose rugs. As the heater is in direct contact with the carpet,
the warmth emanating from it is felt within minutes.
As with under tile
heating only about 50% of the floor is covered.
