UNDER TILE HEATING
Designed to be
installed on a screed directly under the floor tiles. A very thin heating cable
is used which once installed, does not alter the floor level. Contrary to conventional
under floor heating, this system will only cover about 50% of the floor area,
avoiding dead spots such as under the beds and lounge suites. The main advantage
is that the heat source is closer to the tile resulting in a shorter heating-up
period. Under tile heating is ideal when replacing carpets with tiles. A simple
wall mounted thermostat is used, so there is no need for an electrician. The heating
system should not be switched on for at least 3 weeks after installation.
